Security & Confidentiality

How We Protect Your Information

Client documents and business information pass through Aurum Ventura in the course of normal administrative work. Here's exactly how that information is handled, who can see it, and what happens to it when an engagement ends.

Confidentiality, By Default

Every team member who works with client documents or data signs a confidentiality agreement before doing so. Access to a client's files and information is limited to the staff actually working that account — not shared broadly across the team.

How Your Documents Are Handled

  • Documents are stored in Dropbox, a business-grade storage provider that encrypts data both in transit and at rest.
  • All communication with our systems — document uploads, client intake, administrative requests — is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
  • Internal administrative access to reviewed intake and request data requires a login, and is protected against repeated automated login attempts.
  • Actions taken on your account inside our internal systems are logged, so there's a record of what happened and when.

Data Retention & Offboarding

Your documents and information are retained for the duration of your active engagement. If you end services with Aurum Ventura, your documents are deleted or returned to you (your choice) within 90 days of offboarding — just let us know at offboarding which you'd prefer.

What Stays With You

You retain ownership and control of your accounts, systems, and business decisions at all times. We act on your instructions and within the scope you've defined — we don't use your information for any purpose outside the administrative work you've asked us to do.
